Nike Glow

This project began after I purchased Nike’s new Fuelband which led me to think about what other useful outcomes could come from the crossroads of fitness equipment and technology. One issue I have always had with running is that as a driver, it is difficult to see people on the side of the road when it is not as bright out. LED’s have been put into shoes before, but I wanted to take it a step further by allowing the shoe to know when you are running, and when you are stopped. This way allows other people to know if you are moving, or if you are standing still in order to avoid you if you are the runner.
