Suitcase PC

Back in the day, I had the idea for my first case computer which I called the Poor Mans Netbook, even though it ended up costing quiet a bit more than a netbook to build. After people constantly commented on how bulky and under powered it was, I decided to work on a smaller, faster and better built system that could actually be useful for something. I was able to get a much smaller case of the same brand as the last one that I could fit a mini-itx mobo in and the process began.

The Poor Mans Netbook

I’ve always been a fan of mini-itx motherboards ever since they came out and after seeing this case I wanted to shove a computer into it. Come payday I bought everything I needed for this at work and threw it together over the weekend. I used some scrap wood I had to mount everything inside along with some hot glue and screws. Its a very rough prototype but I mainly built it because I though it would be neat. I might throw it on eBay in a week or two when I get tired of it so I can get some money to build a newer smaller more powerful version of this.
