The Poor Mans Netbook
I’ve always been a fan of mini-itx motherboards ever since
they came out and after seeing this case I wanted to shove a computer into it.
Come payday I bought everything I needed for this at work and threw it together
over the weekend. I used some scrap wood I had to mount everything inside along
with some hot glue and screws. Its a very rough prototype but I mainly built it
because I though it would be neat. I might throw it on eBay in a week or two
when I get tired of it so I can get some money to build a newer smaller more
powerful version of this.
*Update*
I threw it on eBay and apparently someone sent it into
Engadget and now a bunch of sites have picked it up. Its only at 140$ right now
but hopefully I will get most or all of my money back on it.
